The team R&D and PD MEFA is responsible for the end to end process of the Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA/MEFA): material specifications, component geometry, manufacturing process development, and validation of experimental principle components.

Responsibilities: 
•    Support the commissioning and recommissioning of process development equipment, including coordination with suppliers and service partners. 
•    Aid the creation of operating instructions, work instructions, and risk assessments. 
•    Assist in the setup, commissioning, and execution of experiments on our modular test platform for UV based adhesive activation and subsequent joining of fuel cell materials. 
•    Identify suitable process parameters (e.g., punching, inkjet adhesive printing, UV intensity). 
•    Support the parameterization of a state of the art AI based inline vision system (matrix camera + intelligent illumination). 
•    Collaborate closely with development and production teams to translate experimental findings into process knowledge.


Required Skills/Experience:
•    Current studies in engineering or natural sciences (e.g., mechanical engineering, process engineering, materials science, mechatronics).
•    Confident use of MS Office.
•    Ideally first experience with laboratory equipment, automation or experimental setups.
•    Independent, structured, and analytical working style.
•    Good German and English skills.

Additional information:
 

Proof of current enrollment in a degree program with outstanding exams is required. 

 

The position is available on a part-time (minimum 15 hours per week) or full-time basis for approximately 6 months.
