In IT, we are responsible for developing, operating, and providing the platform for digital steering of production and testing systems through our Process Orchestration Layer (POL). As a Product Owner, you will shape the future of this platform in close collaboration with the Plan2Fulfill Business Partner, the IT Architect, and the Production IT/OT Infrastructure Product Owner.
Responsibilities:
• You hold end-to-end responsibility for the POL platform – from development to operations in line with the DevOps approach.
• You are responsible for implementing production process requirements in our POL solution.
• You work on frontend and backend components for steering and operation.
• Your role includes both functional and technical alignment with Production IT/OT experts, IT architects, and the P2F Business Partner.
• You are responsible for integrating the POL into the IT production infrastructure.
• You contribute to the further development of the platform in the context of modern manufacturing processes.
• You bring your expertise into interdisciplinary project teams.
• You document and communicate technical solutions clearly and purposefully.
Experience and Qualification:
• You hold a university degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or Software Development.
• You have at least 3–5 years of professional experience in software development using C, JavaScript, or Go.
• Your strength lies in translating production process workflows into effective IT solutions.
• You have knowledge of the structure and functionality of production systems, fieldbus technologies, and safety systems.
