Maintenance Technician - Mechatronics/Electronics for Production Machinery (all genders welcome)

The Facility Management and Machine Maintenance Team is part of the Production Department. As an essential part of the operational unit at cellcentric, we ensure the reliable operation of all buildings, technical facilities, and production machinery. The Machine Maintenance Group focuses on maintenance, servicing, and the operation of production machinery. Simultaneously, we ensure that the team remains strategically and methodologically up to date.

Place of work: Esslingen-Pliensauvorstadt.

Responsibilities: 

• You take responsibility for the technical availability of our production machinery and ensure rapid, sustainable elimination of equipment malfunctions. 
• You independently develop, refine, and update maintenance concepts from a mechatronic and electronic perspective. 
• You perform systematic troubleshooting on PLC controlled systems, robots, and drive technology using modern diagnostic tools. 
• You are familiar with PLC control systems and can implement program adjustments when needed to resolve issues. 
• You carry out preventive maintenance tasks, inspections, and functional tests on the equipment and document all activities within our advanced SAP S/4HANA environment. 
• You contribute to technical improvements and optimizations and represent the maintenance department during the acceptance process of newly acquired production machinery. 
• You review and maintain technical documentation, and, when required, update circuit diagrams, schematics, and bills of materials. 
• You are willing to participate in on call duty and shift work to ensure around the clock operational readiness.

Experience and Qualification: 

• You have completed vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician or Electronics Technician. 
• You have gained at least 3 years of experience in the maintenance of production equipment. 
• You are thoroughly familiar with the relevant standards and regulations (e.g., DIN VDE, DGUV, BetrSichV, ArbSchG). 
• You possess strong knowledge in control technology and robotics and already have experience working with vision and laser systems.
