The team business control secures the financial planning in all dimensions, needed for relevant decision making and to meet our shareholders demands. We perform monthly- and ad-hoc analysis to gain transparency on the progress and performance of the company. We make sure, financial guidance is given at any time and no project- or investment decision is taken without our involvement. All this, we do for the bigger purpose, being a state-of-the-art finance organization, that sets smart steering impulses – to drive great business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- You actively drive the digitalization and automation of our finance processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- You support the Business Control team in the monthly closing process and maintain regular exchange with the relevant departments.
- You participate in the monthly review process and analyze variances at project and functional level using Power BI.
- You review and approve purchase requisitions from various departments.
- You challenge existing processes and leverage AI tools such as Claude to automate routine tasks, freeing up capacity for strategic topics.
- You develop targeted prompts to use Claude efficiently for requests, analyses, and reports.
- You support on accounting-related topics and questions.
- You contribute to the further development of internal finance communication, help build finance know-how across the organization, and support the maintenance of our internal communication platform.
- You take ownership of sub-projects and develop your skills in project management, data analytics, and process automation – gaining deep insight into the controlling/accounting function of a growing high-technology company.
Experience and Qualification:
- You want to shape the future of sustainable transportation!
- You are currently a bachelor or master student in the field of business, economics or a comparable degree program and are interested in the business control area
- You are interested in BI-tools, such as PowerBI or similar to efficiently analyse data and prepare comprehensive reports for our stakeholders
- You are a quick learner with the willingness to work into new topics independently
- You have good knowledge of MS Office 365 applications (e.g. MS Teams, Power Automate)
- You speak fluent English and German.

Additional information:
Proof of current enrollment in a degree program with outstanding exams is required.
The position will only be filled full-time for approximately 6 months.
