Everyone's talking about sustainable energy - we're getting it on track.

We are a company with probably the most experienced employees in our technology field in the world. As a joint venture of Daimler Truck AG and the Volvo Group AB, we are responsible for all activities along the entire value chain for fuel cell systems: from research and development to production and marketing for use in trucks and other applications outside vehicles. The goal is to establish cellcentric as a leading global manufacturer of fuel cells, contributing to climate-neutral and sustainable transportation.

As part of the expansion of the company, we are strengthening the Quality team - we are looking for you as FMEA moderator (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date. The team reports directly to the CFO of cellcentric GmbH & Co. KG. As FMEA moderator you will be responsible for the development and implementation of our quality philosophy on the product. You will work across teams and functions. With your expertise, you will strengthen the quality management team and thus be part of the active quality strategy of cellcentric GmbH.

Responsibilities:

  • You plan and moderate design, process and system FMEA workshops within the CC Group with the specialist departments of product development, software development, production, operational quality management, machine planning and process development - always based on the defined project plans;
  • You identify and evaluate potential sources of error, analyse their causes and effects on the product, system and process using cross-functional functional analysis;
  • You develop measures to prevent and detect errors and monitor the implementation and effectiveness of the defined measures;
  • You drive the further development and optimisation of the FMEA methodology in the company, provide support with training and advise employees on the application of FMEA;
  • You ensure that the FMEA is continuously updated on the basis of change management (CMB), observed defects (FRB) and verification progress (DVP&R);
  • You ensure the coincidence between D-FMEA, safety analyses and process functional safety, including fault tree analyses (FTA);
  • You ensure that the coincidence of the D-FMEA with processes and results of the ‘special characteristics’ is guaranteed;
  • You prepare detailed reports and documentation on the results of the FMEA and their impact on projects or processes.

Experience and Qualification:

  • You have a degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification;
  • You have 3 to 5 years of professional experience in quality management, product development or process optimisation, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry;
  • You have sound knowledge and practical experience in the application of FMEA methodology (design process and system FMEA) as well as certification as an FMEA moderator;
  • You have strong communication and facilitation skills to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams and lead workshops;
  • In addition, you have strong knowledge in the application of methods for systematic and structured problem solving (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why);
  • Our values of passion, perseverance, personal responsibility and trusting cooperation are also the framework for successful collaboration for you;
  • You love working in an international environment and speak English as well as German.

Benefits:

  • We offer you interesting, autonomous and varied activities with corresponding development prospects in a traditional company with a start-up mentality in one of the top future industries;
  • You will receive a very attractive compensation package;
  • With us you can flexibly arrange your working hours, work on a mobile basis and also bring your assignment up to 20 days a year from other EU countries;
  • We offer you at least 30 days of vacation per year;
  • You want a company pension plan, private and occupational accident insurance, capital-forming benefits?  That's what you get from us;
  • With us, work-life balance is not just an empty promise: we offer you flexible working time models for parents or part-time employees;
  • With our comprehensive health management program, we support your fitness and well-being – from regular yoga sessions and an attractive bike leasing option to voluntary health check-ups by our company doctor directly at our locations;
