Everyone's talking about sustainable energy - we're getting it on track.
We are a company with probably the most experienced employees in our technology field in the world. As a joint venture of Daimler Truck AG and the Volvo Group AB, we are responsible for all activities along the entire value chain for fuel cell systems: from research and development to production and marketing for use in trucks and other applications outside vehicles. The goal is to establish cellcentric as a leading global manufacturer of fuel cells, contributing to climate-neutral and sustainable transportation.
You want to help shape a sustainable, zero emission future? At cellcentric, you can. We are driving the industrialization of hydrogen-based fuel cell technology—one of the most important pillars of tomorrow’s clean energy ecosystem. To strengthen our Corporate Development & Strategy team, we are looking for a motivated specialist with professional experience in the hydrogen or fuel cell industry.
In this role, you will lead and contribute to strategic initiatives that define the direction of our company. You will analyze relevant markets, track competitive developments, identify trends in the hydrogen ecosystem and work closely with top management and cross-functional stakeholders (internal and external) to shape cellcentric’s long-term growth path.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic projects that drive cellcentric’s long-term positioning in the global fuel cell market.
- Conduct in-depth market, competitor, and technology analyses, transforming insights into actionable recommendations for senior management.
- Prepare strategy papers, board-level presentations, and briefings for executive leadership, including the CxO team.
- Identify emerging trends, regulatory developments, and business opportunities within the international hydrogen ecosystem.
- Contribute to the continuous development of our corporate strategy and strategic planning processes.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders (e.g. Daimler Truck, Volvo Group and others) as well as internal stakeholders across functions (e.g., R&D, Operations, Finance) to align strategic initiatives.
- Support organizational and cross-departmental activities such as leadership workshops, steering committees, and ad-hoc executive projects.
Your Profile
- You are passionate about contributing to a sustainable energy future and advancing hydrogen-based technologies.
- You hold a master’s degree in economics, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable field.
- You have approximately 3 years of professional experience in hydrogen, energy, mobility, strategy, consulting, or related sectors.
- You bring strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear strategic insights.
- You demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, proactive working style, and willingness to take ownership of your projects.
- You are proficient in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams; Power BI is a plus).
- You communicate fluently in English; German skills are an advantage.
If you are excited to shape the future of a rapidly growing hydrogen champion and want to actively contribute to strategic decision-making, we look forward to receiving your application!
