The Accounting & Financial Reporting team is involved in almost all business processes. We are well-versed in numerous regulations, including international accounting standards, and serve as trusted partners for our internal stakeholders. Our accounting entries support both internal analysis and management reporting as well as external financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • You prepare accounting memos for new business transactions and assess their accounting treatment in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS.
  • You are responsible for reviewing contracts and determining their appropriate accounting treatment under HGB and IFRS.
  • You act as the main point of contact for subsidiaries and external auditors and serve as the interface to the Business Group Intercompany Controller for accounting-related matters.
  • You are responsible for the preparation of the monthly consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • You perform the valuation of employee benefit provisions under IFRS and HGB, including the preparation of the related journal entries.
  • You support the preparation of the Management Report and the Notes to the Financial Statements for the German entities.

Required Skills and Experience

  • You have successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a comparable qualification, such as Certified Accountant (IHK Bilanzbuchhalter).
  • You have at least five years of professional experience in a similar role within group accounting or corporate finance.
  • Your strength include extensive experience in consolidation, German GAAP (HGB), and IFRS.
  • Ideally, you hold an advanced professional qualification, such as ACCA.
