Accountant (m/w/d)

As a joint venture of Daimler Truck AG and the Volvo Group AB, we are responsible for all activities along the entire value chain for fuel cell systems: from research and development to production and marketing for use in trucks and other applications outside vehicles. The goal is to establish cellcentric as a leading global manufacturer of fuel cells, contributing to climate-neutral and sustainable transportation.

The Accounting & Financial Reporting team accompanies almost all business processes. We are familiar with numerous regulations (including international regulations) and are the point of contact for our internal stakeholders. Our bookings are used for internal analysis and control purposes as well as for our external reporting.

Responsibilities: 

• You check and allocate incoming invoices, make independent decisions and post complex issues as well as advance payment invoices and their cancellation in final invoices;
• You take responsibility for the weekly payment run and provide support on topics relating to the annual financial statements;
• You carry out ad hoc analyses and projects, train internal employees in the accounting area and ensure compliance with processes;
• You implement and document measures as part of the internal control system (ICS);
• You support the asset accounting;
• You take responsibility for the GR/IR account and the continous monitoring.

Experience and Qualification: 

• You have completed a three-year commercial apprenticeship with an advanced qualification (e.g. IHK Bilanzbuchhalter, ACCA or comparable);
• You have 3 years of professional experience in accounts payable;
• You have sound knowledge of SAP FI and MM;
• You have a high affinity for IT and in-depth knowledge of digitalisation;
• You work independently, with commitment and precision;
• You are goal- and solution-orientated and tackle challenges proactively;
