Various testing equipment and testing systems are used to ensure quality in the process chain for the in-house production of fuel cell components and the fuel cell itself. Our team is responsible for operational quality management. This includes, for example, incoming goods inspections, monitoring in-house quality and the necessary measurement and testing systems, and creating control plans based on failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA). These activities are an integral part of safe processes and are part of our holistic understanding of processes.

Responsibilities: 

  • You support sample preparation and sample management
  • You will be responsible for carrying out previously planned series of measurements that have been coordinated 
  • You will create simple measurement programs, for example, for measuring the shape and position of parts
  • You support the qualification of inline measuring devices and evaluation / analysis of the generated data (error detection by means of camera detection, XRF measurement, ultrasonic measurement)
  • You will be responsible for the evaluation of measurement series or the automated evaluation of measurement series with the help of suitable programs (Excel, MiniTab, etc.)
  • You support the commissioning of new measuring devices and the testing of subcomponents of the test systems    

 

Experience and Qualification:

  • You are studying materials science, mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study
  • Your strengths include a confident handling of MS Office 
  • Ideally, you already have knowledge of Python, LabView & MiniTab
  • You are characterized by your independent, self-reliant, structured and analytical way of working

Proof of current enrollment in a degree program with outstanding exams is required. 

 

The position is a part-time role (20 hours per week).
