Roll to Roll Employee CCM & MEFAs (m/f/d)

In the process chain for the in-house production of FC components, the production of single cells (Membrane Electrode Framed Assembly) is an important process step. In the future, the Team Production Germany will be responsible amongst other production steps for the production of the Catalyst Coated Membrane, which are manufactured using a roll-to-roll process. The CCM rolls are then further processed and combined with other components and made up. You will be responsible for production plant operation, accompanying machine support and the production of measurement sample resets for process development. These activities are part of safe processes and belong to our holistic process understanding.

Responsibilities: 

• You are responsible for the assembly and setup processes, operation, monitoring of the fully automated CCM und MEFA system and the associated peripheral equipment, as well as the cleaning of the equipment after the end of production
• You work in the series production of fuel cell components and are part of the improvement process in terms of output, quality and process maturity in cooperation with process development, operational quality management and industrial engineering
• You work in the series production of fuel cell components and on instruction you support the process development as well as product development in future verification tests of new tools and development samples
• You are responsible for the worker self-inspection and take over the visual inspection of the produced parts according to the given inspection plan. The documentation of defective parts and their communication is also part of your tasks
• You will carry out general activities in support of maintenance, such as maintenance and calibration measures, including measurement system analyses (MSA), in cooperation with the operational quality department
• You are an essential input for the creation of work instructions and test instructions
• You can be flexibly deployed in other production steps if required

Experience and Qualifications:

• You have successfully completed vocational training in metal/electrical engineering
• You have several years of professional experience in a series production and ideally have experience in the production of roll-processing processes and a high quality understanding
• You have good IT skills (MS Office, laboratory data systems, SAP)
