Various testing equipment and testing systems are used to ensure quality in the process chain for the in-house production of fuel cell components and the fuel cell itself. Our team is responsible for operational quality management. This includes, for example, incoming goods inspections, monitoring in-house quality and the necessary measurement and testing systems, and creating control plans based on failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA). These activities are an integral part of safe processes and are part of our holistic understanding of processes.
Location for work: Starting in Eislingen, moving to Kirchheim Teck/Nabern or Esslingen/Pliensauvorstadt
Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative incoming inspections of electrical and mechanical components and for documenting the inspection results in our ERP/QM system.
- The inspections include visual checks for damage, completeness, and labeling, as well as the review of documentation (e.g., test reports, certificates, declarations of conformity).
- You will perform electrical tests in accordance with VDE guidelines, internal testing regulations, and customer specifications.
- You are responsible for the operation, monitoring, and calibration control of test and measurement equipment.
- You identify, isolate, and report non-conformities (non-conforming parts, supplier feedback).
- You assist with initial sample inspections, complaints, and test plan updates.
- You collaborate with the Quality, Logistics, Development, and Supplier Quality departments.
- You ensure compliance with all electrical safety requirements.
Experience and Qualification:
- Successful completion of vocational training as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician, or industrial mechanic
- You have experience as a certified electrician (EFK) with additional certification for live-line work (AUS) is desirable
- You have a good understanding of the relevant standards (IATF 16949, VDA regulations, MBN11-123, DIN VDE 105-100)
- You have several years of professional experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative incoming goods inspections or quality assurance, as well as experience with test equipment and measurement procedures for electrical components
- You have good IT skills and experience in using MS Office, ERP systems such as SAP, laboratory data systems and Power BI
Experience with testing equipment and measurement procedures for electrical components - You have an independent, careful, and structured way of working as well as an analytical mindset
- You are a team player, communicative, flexible, and decisive
- You love to work in an international environment and speak English as well as German.
