From INK to the completed assembled and tested fuel cell aggregates – that's what the Production team stands for. In the process chain for the production of aggregates, everything starts with the manufacturing of the catalyst layer membrane (CCM) and its individual semi-finished products. In doing so, the Production team is responsible for the mixing of dispersions and their surface coating in the series chemistry laboratory.

Location: Laboratory Stuttgart-Untertürkheim and Esslingen-Pliensauvorstadt

Responsibilities:

• Ensure high overall equipment effectiveness in Production: from planning, installation, operation and optimization
• Technical support of the systems and workstations for the assembly and testing of BZAs.
  • Production support: participate in the preparation of the budget for maintenance; Practical cooperation or assignemnt of maintenance. In addition, troubleshooting and ensuring that errors are rectified.
  • Ensuring Equipment availability and organizing regular maintenance measures; Improvement of the production facilities and their components in terms of plant availability (target: 100% OEE) and maintenance costs. Inventory management of spare parts.
  • Technical support of measuring instruments to monitor the quality of components
  • Analysis and investigation of the operating behavior of equipment especially in the occasion of deviations
• Planning, coordinating and documenting modification and maintenance measures on technical equipment and systems
• Acquisition and display of machine characteristics, process data and product properties (production shop floor).
• Handling of Office programs and production IT (cell system)
• Implementation of requests in the change process  (CR) for components or process parameters
• Creation and maintenance of process documentation (work instructions, process flow, test instructions) in -work preparation and work organization; optimization of workplaces; Audit Preparation (IMS);
• Support & contact person on the part of production in the planning of new equipment, workplaces and processes 
• Ensuring a functioning human-machine cooperation and optimizing those
• You are willing to work in shifts

Experience and Qualification: 

• A degree (FH/Uni) in the field of electrical engineering or mechanical engineering with several years (>2 years) of relevant professional experience in production
• Good analytical problem-solving skills; Structured, solution-oriented way of working
• Ability to work independently, ability to work in a team, flexibility and commitment
• Knowledge in the areas of occupational safety, health and environmental protection desirable
• Confidence in handling MS Office applications and SAP
• Strong communication skills, also with external system manufacturers and service providers
