As the Head of Industrial Engineering at cellcentric, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, enhancing efficiency, and contributing to the company's growth and success. You will lead a team of talented industrial engineers and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure our operations are streamlined and cost-effective. 

 

Responsibilities:  

  • You are responsible for developing and implementing strategies for improving production processes, reducing waste, and increasing overall efficiency. 

  • You lead a team of industrial engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management. 

  • You support and collaborate with various departments, including production, supply chain, and quality to drive process improvements. 

  • You analyze and conduct time and motion studies, process mapping, and data analysis to identify areas for optimization. 

  • You take over and utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate process bottlenecks and inefficiencies. 

  • You manage projects related to process improvements. 

  • You ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. 

  • You stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our processes. 

 

Experience and Qualification:  

  • You have successfully completed your studies (Bachelor's or Master's degree) in the field of Industrial Engineering or a related field. 

  • You have several years of proven experience in industrial engineering. and a strong knowledge of Lean methodologies. 

  • Your strengths include excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking as well as exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ideally, you possess project management experience. 

  • As an add on, you have a solid understanding of the Fuel Cell industry, the technology and the ecosystem in which we operate, including our shareholders, our partners and suppliers. 

  • You have proven experience from leading teams with many interfaces and stakeholders to interact with.  

  • You are an unpretentious leader who gets energy and happiness from experiencing your team’s success more than your individual recognition.  

  • You show strong ownership and responsibility to drive the team’s roadmap to support the overall company objectives – which means you have great understanding for the fundamental business logic in the value chain of our type of company and technology/production. 

  • You believe in the importance of clear, continuous, and consistent communication within your team as well as towards the organization.
