Working Student (m/f/d) in the area Software Testing

The team "R&D Funct. Safety, Cyber Security, Software Quality & Testing" team combines four tasks. We are responsible for defining the requirements, managing and testing functional safety in accordance with ISO 26262 and cybersecurity in accordance with ISO 21434. Furthermore, testing the embedded SW of all control units that are part of the fuel cell system is a central task of the team. The definition of quality targets for SW development and ensuring that these targets are achieved complete the team's responsibilities. 
Your main task is in the area of SW testing, but your work will give you an insight into all areas of the team and you will get to know many disciplines.


Core responsibilities:

  • You analyze the functions of SW development tools in order to use them for existing processes;
  • You create SW test environments to prove the function and roll them out into the production environment;
  • You create instructions for error-free use of the tools and maintain them for updates;
  • You support the optimization and maintenance of existing test automations;
  • You create templates and scripts for the automated creation of test reports;
  • You create dashboards for the visualization of work results;
  • You program new dashboards;
  • You support the script-based porting of requirements.

 

Required competences/experience: 

  • You are studying IT, electrical engineering or a comparable course of study;
  • You have knowledge of common programming languages (object-oriented, Java, Python, SQL, ...) and enjoy familiarizing yourself with new languages;
  • You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
  • You have very good written and spoken German and English skills;
  • You have basic knowledge of software requirements, test specifications and test automation;
  • Good communication skills and an independent, autonomous and structured way of working round off your profile.

Proof of current enrollment in a degree program with outstanding exams is required. 

 

The position will only be filled part-time for approximately 6 months.
