The Team “Fuel Cell System Component” is responsible for the layout of the fuel cell system. The system concept development is driven by requirements developed for the overall fuel cell system and its components. The architectual design is derived from the modelling and simulation results for the components and the entire system. The system concepts are verified and optimized by targeted tests along the hardware sample phases. The main technical development goals, in addition to the product cost optimized system design, are the high efficiency, robustness and durability of the fuel cell system.


Responsibilities: 

  • You’re responsible for an effective management of the requirement lifecycle at the interface with our customers and internal specialist departments:
    • Planning, controlling, moderating and documenting the requirements elicitation process;
    • Prioritization and execution of the requirements analysis;
    • Verification of implementation and compliance with requirements;
    • Reporting on project progress in internal committees and to customers. 
  • You’re responsible for the Process Owner Requirement Management: 
    • Definition and integration of process and procedure models [ASPICE];
    • Definition of the structure and tasks to cover the requirements lifecycle;
    • Ensuring process quality, e.g. through metrics & key figures, lessons learned;
    • Responsible representation for internal and external audits;
  • You’re responsible for the Process Owner Configuration Management:
    • Definition and implementation of the Requirement Change & Implementation Management Process;
    • Version and variant management of specification products incl. sample management and reuse;
    • Definition and implementation of the release management process;
    • Tool and Built Management for specifications.


Experience and Qualification: 

  • You have successfully completed studies in the field of process engineering, physics, automotive engineering, aerospace, mechanical engineering or comparable courses of study;
  • You have several years of relevant experience in the field of automotive development and ideally, you have strong engineering and process knowledge in component and system development;
  • You are characterized by specific qualifications and relevant project management experience in the disciplines of requirement management and engineering, change and configuration management;
  • You already have experience in the technical management of x-functional teams and are a convincing team player with your social skills, strong communication skills and active assumption of responsibility;
  • You are business fluent in German and English;
  • You have user knowledge: Codebeamer, Doors, SAP, PLM Windchill.
