Legal Traineeship (f/m/d) for training in the elective or attorney's station

Founded on a profound and long-standing know how in fuel cell technology, cellcentric, a 50:50 joint venture between Daimler Truck AG and the Volvo Group, is responsible for all activities along the entire value chain for fuel cell systems: from research and development through production to marketing of fuel cells to areas of application even outside vehicles. The ambition is to make cellcentric a leading global manufacturer of fuel cells, and thus help the world take a major step towards climate-neutral and sustainable transportation by 2050.

 

The department "Legal, Compliance and IP Management", headed by the General Counsel, is responsible for all matters relating to corporate and commercial law, general and technical compliance, as well as the management of patents and other intellectual property rights of cellcentric.
The small team is in close contact with all areas of the company, so that a good overview of the legal activities in a producing commercial enterprise can be gained during the training station.


Responsibilities: 

  • You will support the in-house lawyers in dealing with various legal issues (drafting legal memoranda/short opinions on various corporate, commercial, labor, and administrative law issues);
  • You take over the review, drafting and adjustment of contracts or agreements in German and English;
  • You are responsible for drafting correspondence in German and English to internal clients and business partners in Germany and abroad;
  • You participate in internal and external meetings;
  • (if interested) conception and, if necessary, independent implementation of legal training for our employees.

 

Experience and Qualification: 

  • You have completed the first state examination with above-average success;
  • You have an excellent command of English, acquired abroad, so that you have no problems writing and editing legal texts in English;
  • Your strengths include an interest in technical and economic contexts, initiative and communication skills;
  • Ideally, you are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs and have knowledge of SAP;

The position will only be filled full-time for approximately 3-5 months.
