Information Security Engineer (m/f/d)

As information security engineer you will be responsible for managing the controls that protects our organization's computer networks, systems, and data from cyberattacks. You work closely with our functions to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks, and help to contain the damage from security incidents and prevent future attacks.

Responsibilities: 

• You research, design, and implement information security solutions for an organization’s systems and products in compliance with the organization’s applicable security policies and standards;
• You work with IT and internal and external business partners to ensure that security is factored in the evaluation, selection, installation and configuration process of hardware and software especially in our cloud environments;
• You assist in the review and update of information security policies, architectures and standards;
• You assist in responding to audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments;
• You design and implements secure infrastructure solutions, including network security, configuration management, storage security, and identity and access management (IAM) based on security policies to prevent unauthorized access;
• You conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks;
• You keep abreast of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack methods;
• You evaluate and implements new security technologies to address emerging threats.

Experience and Qualification: 

• You have successfully completed a university degree in computer science, cybersecurity or a related field or a comparable qualification;
• +2 years of experience in cybersecurity, previous experience in a security engineering role highly desired;
• If you hold Certified information systems security professional (CISSP) it’s a plus;
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• You have strong communication and persuasion skills, especially when dealing with stakeholders at different levels;
