The Team ‘Failure Analysis Stack and Components’ is responsible for analyzing fuel cell components. This includes analyzing the causes of defective components after testing or real customer use, as well as analyzing components as part of the validation of internal manufacturing process optimizations. 
The team is also responsible for the cross-company failure management process.
The development and operation of an internal analysis technology center and the management of external services completes the area of responsibility.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • You ensure the completeness, transparency, correctness and traceability of the processing of errors that have occurred;
  • You decide on status, responsibility and priority changes;
  • You are responsible for informing management about the overall status of error processing;
  • You will be responsible for the introduction and further development of new error tracking software, including automatic resubmission of tasks, dashboards and statistical analyses;
  • As part of failure management, you will be responsible for initiating risk assessments and recommending warnings or recalls to management;
  • You decide on the completion of error processing.

 

Experience and Qualification: 

  • You have a degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable degree programme;
  • You have a profound knowledge of the relevant quality tools and standards, such as IATF 16949, DIN EN ISO 9001, VDA 2, VDA 4, VDA 6 series, as well as problem-solving methods, such as 5-Why, Ishikawa, 8D;
  • You have at least five years of experience in quality management in projects in the automotive industry and are familiar with the challenges of the industry, ideally in a comparable position;
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in 1-to-1 situations and in group situations;
  • You enjoy working in a team, are highly self-motivated, work independently and in a structured manner and have a high level of assertiveness;
